Your firm needs to be enabled first — see Get started.

Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork, and claude.ai

1. Open Settings → Connectors.

2. Choose Add custom connector.

3. Name it LeanLaw and enter the URL:

   https://api.leanlaw.io/mcp

4. Click Add, then Connect on the new connector.

5. A LeanLaw sign-in page opens. Sign in, review the permissions, and approve.

The connector shows as connected and LeanLaw's tools become available in your conversations.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http leanlaw https://api.leanlaw.io/mcp

Then run /mcp and choose Authenticate. A browser opens for sign-in and approval.

Use the URL exactly as written. A trailing slash is a different address and the connection will fail.

Remove the LeanLaw connector in Claude, or in Claude Code run:
