Codex (OpenAI)

A firm administrator enables Codex (OpenAI) in Settings → AI Agent Access first — see Get started.

Codex app

1. Open Settings → Plugins.

2. Choose Add, then Add MCP Server.

3. Pick Streamable HTTP and enter the URL:

   https://api.leanlaw.io/mcp

4. Click Save, then Authenticate on the LeanLaw plugin.

5. A LeanLaw sign-in page opens. Sign in, review the permissions, and approve.

To check it works, start a new chat and ask something like "list users in my LeanLaw account".

Use the URL exactly as written. A trailing slash is a different address and the connection will fail.

Disconnecting

Remove the LeanLaw plugin in Codex under Settings → Plugins.
